I tried to upload more posts last night but without success. The steam-driven internet was taking ages to upload photographs which made it simply impossible.
We’re off in a few hours. Going to fill my fat belly with breakfast first.
Forecast is not good. Head wind of 35 to 40 kts….that is going to slow us down to a snail’s pace. Typical. It may slow us down so much that I am going to have to make this a three-leg trip instead of two. It was touch and go if I could make it from Mainz in Germany (our first port of call from Prague) direct to Jersey without refuelling. I could probably do it but not if these winds keep up. Bugger…..
Let’s hope in the next two or three hours they suddenly shift round the other way and blow me across the sky.
