Cannes

The first part of this review/blog has been compiled prior to the trip. This part is included under ‘The Planning’. The second part. ‘The Reality’ will be/has been completed after the location has been visited.

The Planning:

It’s been a very long time since I’ve been to the Côte d’Azur. I last went not long after having passed my driving test! I visited Cannes, Nice, St. Tropez and then went on to Monte Carlo. I’m looking forward to returning, albeit briefly.

Cannes is a perfect place to station yourself before flying across the Ligurian Sea to Corsica/Elba. If my plans play out then I should land at Cannes airport early in the morning giving the whole day and night in Cannes before an early departure the next day.
